In current study, a survey measuring sport participation during third week first lockdown, that started 18th March 2020 has been gradually loosened as April 2020, was carried out among 13,515 Flemish citizens. Through canonical correlation analysis, four clusters COVID-19-sports-participants are distinguished, i.e. who restrictions when it comes (i) time sports infrastructure, (ii) closed clubs cancelled event activities, (iii) fear/sickness, (iv) those no impact. Logistic regression results indicate participants with online have (more) positive effect their behaviour, while less missing having adapt previous behaviour. opposite is found for club members, former frequency, but negative motivation. both analyses give insight into role different policy instruments (i.e. clubs, events, type sports) play in keeping motivated stay sports-active.
